Flamengo is defeated by São Paulo as a visitor in the Brazilian Women's Championship

El Flamengo, playing as a visitor, lost 2-1 to São Paulo on the night of the month (4), in Cotia, in the ninth round of the Brazilian Women's Championship. After a very balanced first half, the red team was unable to maintain the same pace in the final straight and swallowed the sips. In the last few minutes, Fernanda traveled the distance to São Paulo.

With this result, the Flamengo women's team suffered its second defeat in the national competition and finished the day in seventh place with 15 points. The team, led by Celso Silva, will compete in its next match against Ferroviária at the Luso-Brasileiro stadium.

The game

In the first few minutes, Flamengo managed to maintain the ball pose for longer periods and sought to attack through short passes. Just three minutes later, he created his first great opportunity: Djeni centered the area, the defense partially evicted and Cristiane shot first over the field.

With a very strong defense, the Flamengo women's team held back their rival's ball and, on several occasions, recovered their position in the opposite field to launch quick counterattacks. In the 14th minute, Fernanda fired a free shot from a long distance, with a powerful shot that impacted the goal, creating a dangerous opportunity for Carlinha's goal. Well positioned defensively, Flamengo conceded few occasions to São Paulo.

After 28 minutes, Fernanda reappeared well in the corner, centered in the area and the tricolor defense tried to dump, but the balloon came out, touching the post. In the final stretch of the first half, the party became more congested, with pase errors from both teams and occasional clear occasions. In the meantime, behind a corner serve from the right, Núbia jumped over the mark and shot headlong dangerously. Then, the score remained 0-0 until rest.

In the second half, both teams will continue looking for the goal. Flamengo created a good opportunity in the next minute when Laysa received the balloon on the right side of the area, he conceded to his marker and fired, but Carlinha made the stop.

However, in the next game, São Paulo opened the marker. Serrana got a rebound inside the area and shot at the bottom of the red, putting the local team behind him.

Six minutes later, the São Paulo team expanded its sales. Behind a center in the area, Isa rose above the Flamengo defense and headed with strength behind the net to score the second goal.

Flamengo, who was behind the marker, tried to react and started attacking with greater intensity, but found himself facing difficulties in the face of a well-organized rival defense. In the final stretch, the team persisted and returned to generating danger. At 36 minutes, Monalisa fired from the area and forced Carlinha to make a good stop.

Flamengo pressed and managed to cut distances in the 42nd minute. Laysa was a good player by the left, defending his marker and a shallow center for Fernanda, who, well positioned, shot on goal: 2-1. In the last minutes, Flamengo continued trying to achieve a draw, but the scorer remained unchanged until the final call.
