Bruno Henrique will be honored with a bust in Gávea

During an interview held this afternoon (4), in CT George Helal, the president of Flamengo, Luiz Eduardo Baptista, announced that Flamengo will pay homage to late Bruno Henrique with a bust at the club's headquarters, in Gávea. 

The news was communicated directly to the owner during the recording of an interview with FlamengoTV about the renewal of the contract between Flamengo and player number 27. 

"I always believe that the greatest honors must surrender to the people who are alive. And we want to do it with Bruno, while he is alive, playing here, in front of the Nation.""Bap hizo the announcement, leaving Bruno Henrique visibly moved by the declaration."

The bust is expected to be unveiled on the club's anniversary this year, on November 15, 2026.

The number 27, who has worn the shirt since 2019, renewed his contract with Flamengo until December 2027. Until closing, the leader has played 362 matches, scored 114 goals and shared 58 assists with the club. Furthermore, he is the Brazilian with the most direct participation in the history of the Copa Libertadores and has won 18 titles: three Copa Libertadores, three Campeonatos de Brasil and two Copas de Brasil.
