Sesc RJ Flamengo faces Gerdau Minas in search of the Superliga leadership.

Sesc RJ Flamengo will seek to return to the Superliga Femenina in a difficult fight for leadership. This coming (06.03 March), coach Bernardinho's team will face Gerdau Minas at 21:30 pm at the UniBH Arena in Belo Horizonte, in a match for the eighth round of the second round of the Women's Superliga. SporTV2 and VBTV will broadcast live.

Currently second in the classification with 46 points, one less than their rivals from Minas Gerais, Flamengo has had a productive week of training and made significant advances in injury recovery in the squad, including two points from Simone Lee and libero Laís. Despite being eliminated in the semi-finals of the Copa Brasil last week, the team remains focused on its most ambitious goals.

The Simone Lee scorer is the top scorer in the competition with 349 points, while the Tainara scorer is nine with 249. The American is also the second highest scorer in serves, with 22 aces. Point Karina occupies the tenth position in the same ranking, with 14 aces, and is also among the 10 best in reception, with 60,5%. In attack, central Lorena occupies the fifth place, with a 51,7% success rate.

The Superliga 2025/2026 has 12 teams, which will face each other in a round-trip format. The quarter finals will face the best teams in the qualifying phase in a playoff of three. The semifinals will also be the best of three, while the final will be a single-party series.
