Sesc RJ Flamengo defeats Renasce Sorocaba in Recife and takes the lead in the Superliga.

Sesc RJ Flamengo won its last match as a visitor in the Superliga classification phase with comfort. This July 19.03 March, the team of coach Bernardinho defeated the team Renasce Sorocaba by 3-0, with splits of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-17, at the Geraldão de Recife gym. With this result, Flamengo will become the leader of the competition and will expect a defeat from Gerdau Minas, who had started the journey at the top.

With great joy and enthusiasm, the Río de Janeiro team delivered a solid performance, achieving 52 points compared to the 50 of their rivals from Minas Gerais. Despite the precarious position of his opponent in the classification, Sesc RJ Flamengo came out with aggression in three sets and didn't give anyone an opportunity. 

The striker gave Tainara, the party's top scorer with 16 points, tied with the outside striker Simone Lee, winning the VivaVôlei Trofeo as the best player on the court and using relief for the team's good performance.

"I am very happy when my performance contributes to the team, but today this trophy could have been for anyone. But I lived very well. I am very happy to be traveling in Recife, a very warm and welcoming place. This party was very important. We never thought it would be easy, because in the first round we had a lot of problems to win the Sorocaba. Today, we managed to put into practice our objective of playing with joy and freedom on the court", stated Tainara.

The red team concludes the classification phase next March (24 March), at 21:00 pm, against Batavo Mackenzie, at Maracanãzinho.
