Leonardo Jardim completes 30 games in charge of Flamengo with a success rate exceeding 72%.

Since taking over as manager in March of this year, Leonardo Jardim has led Flamengo in 29 matches, in addition to the forfeit against Independiente Medellín of Colombia in the Conmebol Libertadores. So far, the team has 19 wins, eight draws, and only three losses, for a 72,2% success rate, with 59 goals scored and 24 conceded.

The journey began on March 8th, in the Carioca Championship final, when Flamengo defeated Fluminense on penalties to secure the title.  

With the Portuguese coach in charge, they scored 56 goals from open play, with 24 in the first half and 32 in the second half. The team also showed efficiency in finishing, with 45 goals scored inside the penalty area and 11 from outside, representing almost 20% of the total.

Another aspect of the work is the use of the squad. Leonardo Jardim has already given opportunities to 35 different players, including 12 athletes trained in Flamengo's youth academy, reinforcing the integration between the "Garotos do Ninho" (Flamengo's youth players) and the main squad.

Excluding the forfeit against Independiente Medellín, in the 20 matches where they opened the scoring, Flamengo won 16 of them, with an 80% success rate when they took the lead.
