Two games away from the playoffs, Flamengo continues to win
Team achieves great victory over São José, away from home, by 20 points difference

With two games remaining in the playoffs, the team, already qualified in first place, defeated São José by a 20-point margin: 94 to 74; 32 of Flamengo's points were scored in just one quarter, the final one. Marcelinho was once again Flamengo's top scorer with 21 points; Gegê stood out in assists with six, and Felício in rebounds with eight. The young center also came very close to a double-double, scoring 13 points.
In the first quarter, Marcelinho stood out in terms of efficiency, with 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists. In the opponent's packed arena, there was no shortage of rivalry, even though Flamengo didn't need the result, having already qualified. In the second period, Flamengo maintained their lead, much to the delight of the Flamengo fans in attendance. Shilton came off the bench to be one of the key players in the paint, grabbing three rebounds. The team went into halftime with a comfortable lead: 43 to 27.
In the third quarter, Marquinhos became the team's top scorer with seven points, bringing his total to 15, in addition to grabbing five rebounds, second only to Shilton, who accumulated six by the penultimate period. In the final quarter, the pace didn't drop. With two consecutive three-pointers, one by Marcelinho Machado and another by Gegê, Flamengo managed to close the gap to almost 20 points over São José. Young Felício was another source of points for Flamengo: he scored 13 points in the game, in addition to eight rebounds that brought the center very close to a double-double. Gegê finished the game with another three-pointer, closing the score at 94-74.
