Opponent defined: FlaBasquete faces Franca in the NBB final

Olivinha talks about the team's performance in the playoffs and predicts a decisive matchup

The wait is over! FlaBasquete has found its opponent in the NBB final. Starting Saturday (28), the Mais Querido faces Franca in a best-of-five series, seeking its eighth championship. The first match will take place at the Pedrocão gymnasium (SP), at 2 pm, while games 14 and 3 will be held in Rio de Janeiro, hosted by Flamengo, at Maracanãzinho. Tickets for the home matches will be on sale soon at flamengo.superingresso.com.br and FlaTV will broadcast all the matches live.

FlaBasquete reached the NBB 14 final with a great campaign in the playoffs, beating Paulistano in the quarterfinals and Minas, in the semifinals, 3-0. After training this Monday, captain Olivinha spoke about the group's performance in the decisive phase of the competition and previewed the duel against Franca.

"Our team did a great job and comes into this final with great confidence. We know it's going to be a very tough series, but we're very confident, training hard for this final, and I believe we'll do a good job. Without a doubt, we're going after the title, giving our all, putting our lives on the court to try and bring home another trophy," said the God of Race.
