Besides being a top scorer, he's also a lucky player. On Monday night (April 28.04), Alecsandro went to the Tijuca Tênis Clube gym to support Flamengo's basketball team, which is competing against Bauru in the quarterfinals of the New Basketball Brazil (NBB). On the court, the orange-ball team did well, winning 86-69.

The top scorer had already shown his love for basketball in the 5-3 victory over Cabofriense in the Campeonato Carioca. After one of his two goals, Alecsandro celebrated by imitating a shot, in honor of the previous day's Liga das Américas champions.

Alecgol's involvement didn't stop with the fans. He joined the action with the members who purchased the two-match package during halftime, and took a chance on a free throw. After missing the target on his first attempt, the striker threw the ball again, without much expectation, and ended up scoring.

Alecsandro made a point of taking photos with every fan who asked. After the match, the forward also posed with Marcelinho and joked about one day scoring 8 goals. Guga, Marcelinho's son and a fan of Alecgol, enjoyed the meeting between the stars. The number 19 also took photos with the red-and-black center Shilton and the Superliga de Vôlei girls, Fofão, Régis, and Juciely.

The next basketball match will be on Saturday (03.05), at 16 pm, for the third match of the best-of-five series against Bauru. The game will be broadcast on the Sportv channel.
