Estácio de Fortaleza students watch a game in a joint action with FlaBasquete

Students studying Physical Education at the Via Corpvs unit interacted with the athletes at the end of the match

As a FlaBasquete sponsor, Estácio once again demonstrated its commitment to sports with a campaign featuring Physical Education students at the Via Corpvs campus in Fortaleza. In the last Pride of the Nation game in the Quadrangular Super Four, against Basquete Cearense—a 91-81 victory for Flamengo—about 20 students from the university received tickets to the match, watched the game from behind the Flamengo bench, and interacted with athletes after the final clock.

"When I learned about the opportunity, I immediately contacted the students through social media. The difficulty was limiting the number of students, because so many wanted to go, not only for the opportunity to see a professional game, but also for the excitement surrounding Flamengo. It's incredibly enriching for them to see the athletes they admire. In fact, these students will be taking basketball next semester," said the course's professor, Claudia Napoleão.

FlaBasquete returns to the court next Friday (30), at 20 pm, for the Campeonato Carioca, for the classic against Botafogo. The home team is the black and white team and only the opposing fans will be able to enter the Tijuca Tênis Clube.

The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo adult basketball team relies on direct funding from its sponsor Estácio, in addition to investments from Tim via the State Sports Incentive Law/State Secretariat for Sports, Leisure and Youth (ICMS).
