Continuing the roster development process for the 2017/18 season, FlaBasquete has made another signing. American Malcolm Jaleel "MJ" Rhett is the new player for the Pride of the Nation. The 24-year-old power forward arrives after a successful stint with Leones de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
With excellent performances also for the University of Mississippi and Tennessee, Rhett also has a history with the following clubs: Cholet (France), Tadamon (Lebanon), Blackwater (Philippines) and Sigal Prishtina (Kosovo), where he played in the FIBA European Cup.
Last season, playing for Leones de Santo Domingo, the player averaged 17 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists, and now joins coach José Neto's squad to compete in the South American League and NBB 10, among other FlaBasquete commitments.
