Flamengo traveled to São Paulo this Thursday (16) to face Corinthians in the NBB. The trip followed the Panamanian window of the Champions League Americas, which saw Rubro-Negro secure the lead in group B and qualify for the next phase of the continental competition.

Even with fatigue in their luggage, Flamengo and Corinthians played a great match at the Wlamir Marques gymnasium - decided only in the final minute - with the red-black team losing 95 to 87.

Now, Mais Querido turns its attention to Pinheiros, their opponent next Saturday (18), at 17 pm, still in São Paulo, for the NBB.

1st bedroom
Mengão started the first quarter very well. Lucas Siewert converted a three-pointer on the first attack. On the next play, Siewert converted a pass after a good pass from Jordan Williams. The match continued, and Jordan Williams hit two three-pointers to extend the Rubro-Negro's lead in the first quarter. Corinthians eventually came back, finishing the first half 32-28.

2st bedroom
In the second period, Flamengo tried to get back on track, starting with Ruan, who spun and dunked beautifully. Shaq Johnson knocked down a three-pointer and passed to Alexey, also a three-pointer, to narrow the gap. Flamengo went into halftime trailing by five points, 5-56.

3st bedroom
Flamengo returned from halftime fully engaged in the game, scoring well. Alexey, having a strong game, stole the ball and sat the ball down to Siewert, who passed it to Jordan Williams for a dunk, cutting the deficit to one point. Jhonatan Luz and Lucas Siewert also converted two consecutive three-pointers, giving the Pride of the Nation the lead heading into the final quarter.

4st bedroom
In the final period, the Mais Querido scored ten more points, reaching 83, with Gui Dedodato hitting a three-pointer. The Rubro-Negro ended up losing near the end of the match, and Corinthians won 95-87.
