After beating Minas at Tijuca Tênis Clube, Flamengo traveled to Manaus and began preparations for the last game of the first phase of NBB CAIXA 9. The team held a tactical training session on Friday afternoon (31) at Arena Amadeu Teixeira, in Manaus, the venue for the match.
Looking to finish the first part of the season with a victory, coach José Neto led training at the Arena in Manaus, making the final adjustments for the game against Brasília. Having secured first place in the NBB CAIXA, Flamengo awaits the start of the playoff quarterfinals.
"We are committed to winning even if we secure first place. This has been very clear since we arrived at Flamengo; we have to keep winning. It also serves as preparation for the playoffs, which are coming soon," commented Rafael Mineiro.
