FlaBasquete announces another signing. Coming off a standout season with Paulistano, finishing runner-up in the NBB and being named the competition's best sixth man, point guard Arthur Pecos will be the newest member of the Pride of the Nation.
Last season, Pecos averaged 10 points, 3,5 rebounds and 4,9 assists.
In his first words representing the Most Beloved, the player revealed his excitement about wearing the Sacred mantle.
"It's a great pleasure to sign for Flamengo, a giant club with a lot of history. I'm very happy that the deal went through, and now it's time to work and focus on our goals for this season, which I'm sure will be incredible. I'll give my all to help the team achieve our goals. I'd like to thank the board and coaching staff for trusting in me and giving me this opportunity at Flamengo," the player said.
Finally, he spoke about the Red-Black Nation.
"It's always been very difficult to play against them, and now being able to have this crowd behind us will be incredible. Now it's time to work to bring a lot of joy," concluded the point guard.
