FlaBasquete athletes visit Sempre Flamengo Sports School
The red-black squad participates in the future players' class
By Victor Cachoeira - inStudents at the Sempre Flamengo Sports School in Gávea had a very special visit last week. The young players were joined by Flamengo's professional athletes during training. Marquinhos, Olivinha, JP Batista, Pilar, Arthur Pecos, MJ Rhett, João Vitor, and Mogi took turns sharing their experience and knowledge with the kids.

The young red-and-blacks, besides being surprised by having renowned professional players playing alongside them, had the opportunity to chat with the FlaBasquete stars at the end of the class. The students asked questions, had their doubts clarified, and even received tips from Pride of the Nation members on the court.
On Sunday (27), an event attended by some of the red-blacks was held at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium. João Pântano, coordinator of the Sports School, spoke about the initiative.
"The event brought together students from the Sempre Flamengo Sports School for a Sunday of basketball action. Approximately 100 children, ages 8 to 17, participated. The kids enjoyed games designed to bond, each in their own age group, and all were awarded medals. It's worth noting that the awards ceremony was hosted by players from Flamengo's professional basketball team, further encouraging the children to play their favorite sport," he concluded.
Classes at the Sempre Flamengo Sports Schools (EESF) contribute to the development of better citizens and future athletes who may represent the Most Beloved, in addition to promoting integration among students of all ages.
