Basketball base debuts in the State Championship with victory
The red-black youth team beat Iguaçu 91-45

Flamengo debuted with a victory in the State Youth Championship (under-19) of basketball, this Wednesday (11.04), defeating Iguaçu BC by 91 to 45, away from home. The top scorer of the match was the Rubro-negro Gabriel Andrade with 17 points.
The red-black team led by coach Paulo Chupeta returns to the court for the second round of the competition, on Saturday (14.04), against Club Municipal, at 20 pm, in Gávea.
The other youth categories will take to the court on Sunday (29.04), against Tijuca Tênis Clube, also for the State Championship. The under-13s will play at 9 am, the under-15s at 10:30 am and the under-17s at 12 pm.
