Flamengo's youth academy does well in the State Basketball Championship
Rubro-negros won their matches in four different categories

Flamengo's youth basketball team won every match against Club Municipal last Saturday (August 27.08th) at the Hélio Mauricio Gymnasium in Gávea. The youth team secured a large victory, 81-15. Bernardo Campos, the red-and-black team's top scorer with 20 points, stood out. The youth team defeated their opponents 67-61. Henrique Machado led the way with 17 points. The youth team also did the same, defeating Club Municipal 57-40. Daniel Lorio was the red-and-black team's top scorer with 14 points.
On Sunday (28.08), Juvenil defeated Três Rios by 66 to 60, in Gávea. The highlight for Flamengo was Anderson Resende with 18 points.
The youth, children and infants teams will return to the court on Saturday (10.09), against Fluminense, at the opponent's home, at 14 pm, 15:30 pm and 17 pm respectively.
