The youth teams of the red-black basketball team continued their campaigns in the State Championship. In three matches against Tijuca Tênis Clube, played last Saturday (03), the under-13 and under-15 teams triumphed over their opponents.
In the first match, the under-13 team fought a tight battle against their opponent, opening up a late lead to secure a 42-31 victory. In the next match, the under-15 team put on a stellar performance. With a commanding 31-point lead, the match ended in an 86-55 victory for Mais Querido. Rounding out the day's activities, the under-17 team lost 62-43.
Following the competition, Flamengo will face the derby against Vasco. The clashes, which will mark the last round of the first round of the qualifying phase, will again involve the under-13, under-15 and under-17 categories. The ball will be thrown into the air this Saturday (10).
