Youth basketball remains strong in the state knockout stages
U-13, U-14 and U-19 categories are in the semi-finals and U-17 is in the quarter-finals
By Communication - Official Club Website - inFlamengo's youth basketball teams continue their fight for the Rio de Janeiro state championship title. Within their respective categories, the under-13 and under-19 teams took to the court last Friday (November 20.11th) - and won.
The younger group took to the court at 11 am and beat Botafogo 67-20. The second game, valid for the state semi-final, takes place this Wednesday (November 25.11th) at 18:30 pm.
The under-19 team faced Jacarepaguá and won 76-41. The boys met the opponent again on Sunday (November 22.11nd) and qualified for the tournament semifinals by winning 68-39.
The under-14 and under-17 teams have important matches this weekend. The under-14 team faces Fluminense at Gávea at 11 am on Saturday (November 28th) for the first leg of the category's semifinals. The under-17 team plays the first leg of the quarterfinals on the same day at 12:30 pm. Their opponent will be either Fluminense or Municipal.
