Red-and-black basketball team joins bone marrow donation campaign
Players wear race shirts that will take place in December on Copacabana Beach

The red-and-black basketball team has joined the bone marrow donation campaign promoted by INCA (National Cancer Institute) and the Cancer Foundation. After the final training session, players and coaching staff wore the jerseys for the "II Race and Walk With You, for Life," which will take place on December 12th at Copacabana Beach.
Expected to draw 2.500 participants, the event will kick off the week of national mobilization for bone marrow donation. Registration, which will benefit projects at the Inca Bone Marrow Transplant Center, costs R$35 and can be completed at www.cancer.org.br/corridacaminhada/2010/. Registrants will receive a kit including a shirt, cap, and tote bag.
