FlaBasquete is one step away from the Champions League final! With an advantage in the best-of-three series after winning the first semifinal match last Monday (09), in Argentina, the Pride of the Nation can decide the classification on Thursday night (12), with the support of the red-black fans. At 19:30 pm, Mais Querido faces Instituto Córdoba at Maracanãzinho and tickets are now on sale online.

"It's the most important game of the season for us so far. It'll probably be a completely different match than the first one. In the playoffs, games don't repeat themselves; the game's character is completely different," said coach Gustavo De Conti. "I hope the nation comes, shows up, and pushes us as always. In the Champions League, it's all about the drums and the flag; this is very important for us, this beautiful celebration pushing us to secure a spot in the final," he added. 

Flamengo won the first semifinal match 63-54 at the Ángel Sandrin gymnasium in Córdoba. Olivinha was the standout performer with a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
