Universo/BRB/Brasília defeated Pitágoras/Minas 90-77 in the fifth semifinal match this Saturday and will face Flamengo in the Novo Basquete Brasil final. But unlike last year, when the red-and-black team finished first in the preliminary round and became national champions for the second time playing in Rio de Janeiro, the team from the Federal District had the best campaign this season and will have the right to decide the best-of-five series at home.

The first game of the finals will be this Saturday at 16 p.m. at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro. The second and third games will be in Brasília on the 28th and 30th at the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium. The fourth game will return to Rio de Janeiro on the 3rd, if necessary, and the fifth and final game will be in the Federal District, if necessary.

Tickets will go on sale this Tuesday at Gávea, Maracanã and at the HSBC Arena itself.
