Flamengo's campaign in the Basketball Development League (LDB) is undeniably adjective-laden. Paulo Chupeta, the team's coach, considers the word "impeccable" to be the best. After all, after the end of the third stage of the competition last Sunday (September 01.09st), the "Mais Querido" remains the only undefeated club among the 20 participants and tops the standings. They have 19 wins and 58 points, five more than the second-place team.

"If I have to define the trajectory in just one word, I'd choose 'impeccable.' Everything is going as planned, and they're still unable to surpass us in dedication and resilience. The team is on the rise, maturing, and overcoming all obstacles. The group was assembled with a great mix of ages, a good chemistry has been generated, and the boys are managing everything very well," said the coach.

The fourth stage of the LDB qualifying round will begin on October 8th and will be played in Recife, Pernambuco. Among the five clubs Flamengo will face are the strong Brasília and second-place Basquete Cearense.

"We've opened up three wins against the Ceará team, which has a great squad, but since the games will be in Recife, the court will be neutral, and our team is better prepared to play away from home than theirs. Not to mention that the Flamengo boys will start training with the professionals next week, and this gives them much more experience," concluded Paulo Chupeta.
