NBB champion with Bauru, Gabriel Jaú is FlaBasquete's first reinforcement
The 23-year-old, 2,02m power forward has already been named Young Player of the Year and is having a brilliant season in the competition.

Jaú is coming off a stellar season in the national championship, averaging 7.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 16.9 assists, and XNUMX efficiency, and is currently a member of the Brazilian national team competing in the World Cup qualifiers.

In addition to his excellent season averages, Gabriel Jaú broke several personal records in 2022. In February, he scored 28 points against Brasília. In 2020, in a match against KTO/Caxias do Sul, the power forward grabbed an impressive 18 rebounds.

At FlaBasquete, Jaú joins power forward and team captain Olivinha and point guard Yago, already confirmed for the squad led by Gustavo De Conti. The Pride of the Nation's main goal this year is to win the Champions League of the Americas, as well as the NBB, the Super 8 Cup, and the State Championship.
