Basketball youth teams in action this weekend
U-14 and youth teams face Tijuca, while the children's and infants' teams face Três Rios.

Flamengo's youth basketball teams take to the court this weekend for the State Championship. The U-14 and Youth teams face Tijuca Tênis Clube on Friday (July 08.07th) at 18:30 pm and 20 pm, respectively, at their opponent's home ground. The Children's and Junior teams play on Saturday (July 09.07th) against América de Três Rios, starting at 14 pm, in Três Rios.
In the last round of the competition, on July 01.07st, the under-14 team beat Vasco, in São Januário, by 54 x 40. The youth team also achieved a positive result over the same rival: 64 x 62. The children's and junior teams were not far behind and defeated Jacarepaguá by 80 x 33 and 109 x 31, respectively, at the Hélio Maurício Gymnasium, in Gávea.
