Another night of FlaBasquete's centennial victory in the Federal District, with a gala performance by Gabriel Jaú. The young power forward shone in the 109-75 triumph over Brasília, in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), with a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds. The venue for this Thursday's match (23) was the Nilson Nelson gymnasium, in the country's capital.

The game

Flamengo started the match with an 8-2 lead in a fast-paced duel featuring quick counterattacks and blocks between the teams. Halfway through the first quarter, Flamengo was already leading 14-4, showing off a lot of energy on the court. From then on, the Gávea team was in a frenzy, eventually taking a 24-5 lead with two minutes remaining. In the second quarter, Brasília continued the comeback that began in the final moments of the first half and even took the lead, but the Mais Querido's lead was solid and held until halftime: 33-44.

Flamengo started the third quarter well, taking an 8-1 lead within the first two minutes. With a strong defensive performance, Flamengo closed down their opponent, but Gabriel Jaú had a brilliant night, reaching 30 points in the period and leading by 23 points into the final quarter. In the final ten minutes, Gustavo De Conti's team maintained their momentum, surpassing XNUMX points, and relying on a strong second half from Vildoza to seal the victory.
