Top scorer in the first match against Valdivia, Olivinha analyzes the opponent
Rubro-Negra faces the Chilean team this Friday (13), away from home, for the Champions League

The orange ball goes up at 19:10 pm at Antonio Azurmendi and Mengão's victory guarantees qualification for the next phase. In the first match played between the teams, Rubro-Negro beat the Chilean team 82 to 71 at Arena Carioca 1.
The game's top scorer with 17 points, power forward Olivinha analyzed the Valdivia team and spoke about the importance of the match.
"We're going to have a very tough battle tomorrow. Chile is very dangerous at home. We had a tough game in Rio too. They have some players like the Argentine point guard, who played very well, and the center, who also played well, making our lives very difficult. Our team is very focused, motivated, and excited. I hope we can do a great job here, reduce the scoring of these players, and try to leave here with the victory and, consequently, qualification for the next round," said the number 16.
Flamengo has won two of its two matches in the competition. The first was against Instituto de Córdoba of Argentina, at the Ángel Sandrin gymnasium, 83-75. The teams face off again on December 20th, with Mais Querido hosting the Arena Carioca 1. The match concludes the first group stage of the Champions League.
