Flamengo remains undefeated in the 2009-2010 New Basketball Brazil season. "The team read the game well today. We managed to break through their defensive block and attacked their defense well. After they were twenty points up, they managed it. The difference, I think, was significant because Saldanha's team is a traditional one. But Flamengo did well," he said.
According to the coach, the return of point guard Fred, who was crucial in the decisive matches against Brasília last season and is currently recovering from an injury to his left hand, will be gradual.
