FlaBasquete won another NBB victory! This Sunday, at the Professor Hugo Ramos Municipal Gymnasium in Mogi das Cruzes, the Rubro-Negro defeated Pato Basquete 105-70 and secured their fifth consecutive victory in the competition, maintaining a 100% record and taking the lead. With a strong collective performance, the Mais Querido converted 18 baskets from outside the paint. Olivinha led the way with 23 points, followed by Chuzito with 21.

"I think we managed to play a good game, better than the one against Campo Mourão. We maintained the same rhythm from the start, with the intensity we tried to convey. In the first half, I think our defense wasn't so good; we conceded a lot of points, but in the second, we improved our fundamentals. In the fourth quarter, if I'm not mistaken, we only conceded eight points, so that made our game much easier. The team did a great job here today. We had two tough games and two wins, so I think we're on the right track," said the number 16.

Highlights
Olivinha - 23 pts, 7 rebs, 3 ass
Chuzito - 21 pts, 6 rebs, 5 ass
Mineiro - 19 pts, 7 rebs, 4 ass
Yago - 15 pts, 4 rebs, 4 ass

The game
Chuzito opened the scoring for Mengão with a three-pointer. Olivinha, also with a three-pointer, Rafael Mineiro (two), and the God of Race and the Argentine again from outside the paint extended the lead, forcing Pato Basquete to call a timeout (14-2). Pato came back stronger in the second period and managed to close the gap (34-28). Balbi with a free throw and Olivinha with a three-pointer put the lead back in double digits (38-28). On a bright night, the red-and-black captain infiltrated, dribbled, and scored, scoring from all corners of the court. From outside the paint, Hettsheimeir scored his first points of the match and Flamengo reached 45-32. Yago, Chuzito, and Rafael Mineiro still scored before halftime (55-43).

Another three-pointer and Mineiro started the third quarter scoring for Flamengo, followed by Balbi, who converted from a long distance (61-48). The Most Beloved had already beaten Campo Mourão last Friday (20), by 78 to 63. After the two matches at the headquarters in Mogi, the team returns to Rio de Janeiro and faces just over a week of training before the next challenge. On December 3, Flamengo and Pinheiros face each other at the Morumbi gym (SP).
