Five red-and-black basketball players are called up for the 2015 Pan-American Games

Olivinha, Benite and Laprovittola will be part of their national teams in the competition; José Neto and fitness coach Diego Falcão are part of the coaching staff

Year after year, Flamengo basketball has grown stronger. Beyond the titles won, the players' individual achievements are further proof of this. And, in the selections for the 2015 Pan American Games, Flamengo once again demonstrates the quality of its work on the court with three athletes recognized by teams from two countries.

Brazilian national basketball team coach Ruben Magnano has called up shooting guard Vitor Benite and power forward Olivinha for the delegation competing in the Toronto competition; coach José Neto and fitness coach Diego Falcão will be on the coaching staff. In addition to the Brazilians, Argentine Nicolás Laprovittola has been called up to his country's national team. The Pan American basketball tournament takes place from July 21st to 25th.

Before defending Amarelinha, the Orgulho da Nação athletes enter the court this Tuesday (26.05), for the first match of the NBB7 final, against Bauru, at HSBC Arena.
