A 79-71 victory over Instituto Córdoba tonight secured the Pride of the Nation's first-place finish in the group. As a result, the Red-Blacks' opponent in the Final 8 will be Universidad de Concepción.
The big highlight of the night was Cuello, who was the top scorer and reached a double-double against his former team, with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

The game
Flamengo's first half saw a strong offensive performance, opening with 29 points in the opening half. Flamengo held their opponents to under 20 points in both quarters, but the second quarter was more evenly balanced, with the Rio de Janeiro team's attack lacking prowess. With nine three-pointers and a much superior rebounding advantage, Flamengo went into halftime leading 47-34.
Returning for the third quarter, Instituto Córdoba prevailed, winning the quarter 25-17, significantly closing the gap between the two teams. In the final quarter, the Argentines managed to come back, but FlaBasquete showed resilience to turn the tide and secure the victory.
