Both teams entered the court to fulfill their schedule, but, valuing the competition, the Rubro-Negro played seriously the whole time and beat the Mexican opponent, who played at home and, like Flamengo, with a starting lineup, by 78 to 58. Felício achieved a double-double, with 12 points and 10 rebounds; Meyinsse was the top scorer, with 19 points and Gegê the waiter, with seven assists.
Laprovittola opened the game with a three-pointer. Flamengo's strong start also included a dunk by Marquinhos, and when the lead reached ten points, with only one basket from Halcones, the opposing coach called a timeout. Flamengo maintained its lead, and the first quarter ended 23-13. In the second quarter, Flamengo continued to dominate. Felício came out on top and also dunked. Flamengo went into halftime with a healthy lead: 43-28.
In the third quarter, Meyinsse led the way with 16 points, and Washam came off the bench to score 10 points and become the second-highest scorer so far. Maintaining a roughly twenty-point lead since halftime, Flamengo remained superior. Gegê was one of the stars of the game, with seven assists. The final buzzer sounded sealed another victory for the "Mais Querido," who hadn't lost a game in the competition.
