In the semifinals! In the third game of the NBB quarterfinals, FlaBasquete beat Fortaleza 82-68 on Thursday night (9), closing the series 3-0. Now, the Mais Querido awaits the winner between Vasco da Gama and Bauru to discover its opponent in the next phase. In 15 editions of the NBB that reached the end (in 2020 the championship was paralyzed without a winner due to the pandemic), the Pride of the Nation played an incredible 14 semifinals – winning DNA!

1st Bedroom

The match started evenly and with few points. In the first four minutes, Flamengo led 9-7. Until that point, Gabriel Jaú had scored all of Mais Querido's points. "The Pride of the Nation" opened up a 10-point lead, and the home team called a timeout. Didi, with a well-timed hand, finished the first quarter with 3-of-4 3-pointers. Mengão finished ahead 25-18.

2st Bedroom

The Rio de Janeiro club started the second half overwhelmingly, opening up a 12-point lead. A beautiful play came in the final stretch: Balbi made a great pass for Maique to dunk. The final minutes were filled with attacking errors and a lot of running around. Flamengo went into halftime leading the match by 23 points: 49 to 26.

3st Bedroom

The Pride of the Nation returned with the same impetus as in the first half and didn't let the lead close in the opening minutes. Late in the quarter, Fortaleza threatened a comeback, but the red-and-black attack worked well and the lead fell to just two points. Scott Machado stood out, scoring five points from six attempts.

4st Bedroom

The final 10 minutes began with Gui Deodato stealing the ball and fighting to maintain possession for Flamengo. The highlight of the game was Matheus Gueiros, who came on and scored a three-pointer.
