The under-22 basketball players will compete in the semifinal round of the Basketball Development League (LDB) on Tuesday (February 26.02) at 18 p.m., against Suzano, in São José dos Campos. The team features young players who play professionally, such as Feliz, Diego, Chupeta, Alexandre, Douglas, and Gegê, who alternates between playing in the category and playing in adult tournaments. It will be his job to lead the younger players on the court and share his experience playing for the New Basketball Brazil (NBB) and the League of the Americas.

"It's important for me because I'm playing a lot at the senior level, and I can take advantage of this experience to help the U-22 players on and off the court. I know the difficulties of this transition, which has been happening to me since last year, and I'm trying to mature more and more by rotating between the categories," explained the point guard.

The double routine will not give a break. After the match against Suzano, Gegê will be on the court against Mogi, in the NBB, next Monday (4.02). "I have to rest in the little time I have, eat well and be ready to go on the court," reveals the athlete when explaining the care he takes to maintain a high level in both competitions.

The match will be held at the Ginásio Lineu de Moura. This is the second edition of the LDB, which began at the end of last year.
