With the absence of Alexey, who was spared from the match due to discomfort in the back of his thigh, FlaBasquete was defeated by Boca Juniors, in Argentina, by 96 to 71. Despite the defeat, the Pride of the Nation has already qualified for the next phase of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) in first place in Group B.

The game started with the opposing team in the lead, which, in the first half of the quarter, reached a 12-point lead over FlaBasquete. The lead increased, but at the end of the half, FlaBasquete fought back and closed the gap: 24-17.

2st Bedroom

The second half of the game started much like the first, but Boca Juniors took a bigger lead, 24 points. FlaBasquete attempted a comeback with Jhonatan Luz, but it wasn't enough to close the gap, 56-32 at the end of the quarter.

3st Bedroom

FlaBasquete returned from halftime still trying to find a result, but to no avail. Shaq Johnson was the standout performer of the quarter, scoring well, but the opposing team's pace continued to dictate the game. 84-44 at the end of the quarter.

4st Bedroom

The final quarter mirrored the rest of the game. FlaBasquete started scoring, but couldn't handle the pressure from the home team, which won 96-71.

Still in the Argentine BCLA window, FlaBasquete faces Toros de Chiriquí tomorrow (10), at 21:20 pm.
