Brazil easily won the second game of the Pan American Games, against Venezuela, this Wednesday (22.07). Vitor Benite was the highlight with 14 points and four rebounds, on the court in Toronto. JP Batista, the new reinforcement of the Most Beloved in the World, also performed well, scoring 11 and finishing the game with five rebounds.

With the victory, the team remains in the fight for the leadership of Group A. The next match is against the United States, this Thursday (24.07), at 22 pm, Brasília time. 

"I felt the team was very solid. Even playing against a tough Venezuela, with a tough, physical game, the team performed well. Every game will have difficult moments, but knowing how to get out of them as quickly as possible shows very good quality. The individual aspect will also come through. There are many quality players here, sometimes it will be more for one, more for another. Today was my role. Hopefully, other days will be different," declared Benite.
