With absolute dominance, FlaBasquete defeats Toros 50-96 and secures third victory in the BCLA
With a great collective performance, Mengão opens up a 46-point lead and remains undefeated in the competition.

FlaBasquete took to the court on Sunday night (12), in Panama, and beat Toros de Chiriquí 96-50 in the debut of the second window of Group B of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA). With the third victory in the competition, the Pride of the Nation maintains the leadership of its group and is very close to the early classification for the next phase.

1st Bedroom
The Pride of the Nation started with a bang! Right from the first attack, Alexey converted the first three-pointer of the match. FlaBasquete maintained its intense pace in the opening minutes and opened up a 9-0 lead. Inspired, the Nation's number 47 scored another three-pointer. The Toros de Chiriquí responded, hitting three consecutive baskets from the three-point line and closing the gap at the end of the period. Even so, Mengão finished the first ten minutes ahead: 18-12.
2st Bedroom
Flamengo started the second quarter with the same intensity, putting pressure on the home team. In the opening minutes, they scored six points and extended their lead. The rest of the quarter was dominated by Flamengo, whose lead surpassed 20 points. Shooting over 50% of their three-point attempts, Flamengo ended the first half leading 48-26.
3st Bedroom
After halftime, the pace of the game slowed, and in the first few minutes, only five points were scored, three of which were scored by Flamengo. Around the third minute mark, Ruan made a beautiful play in the paint, scoring two points and converting a free throw. As the quarter progressed, the Orgulho da Nação (Nation's Pride) extended its lead even further, reaching over 30 points. The period ended with the score 73-44 for Mengão.
4st Bedroom
With a comfortable lead, Flamengo maintained its consistency in the final minutes. A recovered Gui Deodato came on and scored nine points in a few minutes. Demonstrating its superiority, Flamengo closed out the game 96-50, securing another victory in the competition.

This Monday (13), FlaBasquete returns to the court in Panama to face Boca Juniors, at 22:40 pm, in the second game of this Basketball Champions League Americas window.
