With a great performance, FlaBasquete beat Mogi 109-79 and takes the lead in the NBB playoffs

In the first game of the NBB quarterfinals, FlaBasquete had an excellent performance and beat Mogi 109 to 79 on Wednesday afternoon (28), at the Maracanãzinho gymnasium, taking the lead in the quarterfinals of the competition. The highlight of the match was Yago, with 19 points and eleven assists.
The game
Flamengo's first points of the first quarter were scored by Yago, on a drive. The Mogi team, with a strong start to the period, converted points on offense and took the lead. Due to a technical problem with the clock, the game was halted for a few minutes. Upon resumption, Yago and Lucas Martinez hit two three-pointers for Mengão, who took the lead. Jhonatan Luz also showed his calibrated hands, converting two more for three points. The Pride of the Nation finished the quarter ahead: 32-23.
Early in the second period, Marquinhos made a beautiful individual play and scored two more points. Soon after, Mengão's number 11 shot for a three-pointer and converted. Hettsheimeir also tried from well before the three-point line, and the ball went in. The red-and-black team worked well in transition plays and were accurate with three-pointers, further increasing their lead: 56-39.
After halftime, Mogi came back more focused and rallied. But the Pride of the Nation continued to dominate the court and prevented the São Paulo team from closing in. Marquinhos excelled in the red-and-black attack, scoring important points. Just as Mogi was beginning to rally, Hettsheimeir and Yago hit a series of three-pointers, giving the Red-and-Black team a 30-point lead: 88-58.
In the final quarter, coach Gustavinho rotated the red-and-black team and brought in the youngsters, who maintained their high intensity and put on a show on the court. Competent on offense and defense, in addition to excellent three-point shooting, the Pride of the Nation put on another outstanding collective performance and comfortably won the match 109-79.
