Brandon Robinson was the top scorer for Mais Querido, with 15 points, and five other athletes reached double digits in scoring: JP Batista (14), Dar Tucker (13), Yago (11), Rafael Mineiro (11) and Túlio da Silva (10). JP was the leader in rebounds, with eight, followed by Olivinha, with seven.
The game
Olivinha, Mineiro, Robinson, and JP Batista rained down three-pointers in the opening minutes of the match. The Rubro-Negro, far superior, closed the first quarter with an 11-point lead (24-13). In the second quarter, the opponent managed to slow down the Mais Querido's momentum and maintain the lead for most of the quarter, but Mengão regained the lead before halftime (19-18) and went into the break leading 43-31.
