The national team beat Lithuania - which will be Brazil's first opponent in the Olympics - 64-62, last Sunday (31), at the Professor Hugo Ramos Gymnasium, in Mogi das Cruzes-SP.
"We're a week away from our Olympic debut and we're living in a different moment. I hope we'll be better in the first game than we were today. At this level, anything we know about our opponents is very important. We're studying them a lot through video, and this is definitely information that will help us a lot when it comes to deciding the best play on the court. We'll approach each match as if it were the final," commented the red-and-black winger Marquinhos.
The Brazilian National Team says goodbye to São Paulo this Tuesday (2), at 20 pm, in the last friendly against China. On Wednesday (3), the Brazilian delegation travels to Rio de Janeiro and enters the Olympic Village.
