With Olivinha and Yago scoring goals, FlaBasquete beats Fortaleza in Aracati (CE)

On a night with a great presence of the Nation, in the city of Aracati (CE), FlaBasquete defeated Fortaleza Basquete Cearense in the NBB, by a score of 94 to 91. Olivinha and Yago were the top scorers, with 15 points each, followed by Lucas Martinez (14 points) and Túlio da Silva, who achieved a double-double (13 points/10 rebs).

The game:
An offensive rebound from Faverani allowed Olivinha to score two points and draw the foul to open the scoring. Fortaleza took the lead, and Yago, with two free throws, pulled one back (6-5). Lucas Martinez, calibrated, secured three more points for the Mais Querido, with the Monstrinho and Deus da Raça following suit (6-14). Túlio da Silva came in, scored, and with just over two minutes left in the quarter, Olivinha extended the lead. Fortaleza reacted and scored again, cutting the lead to one point (17-18), but Rafael Rachel converted from the dead zone, giving Mengão a 21-17 lead.
Túlio da Silva started the second period inspired, making it 27-20, with Rachel, shortly after, lifting the crowd with a beautiful dunk (23-29). And he was there again! Túlio dribbled, converted, and was fouled (23-32). Cria also scored again, with a three-pointer, and Mengão made it 35-28. Franco Balbi from outside the paint, Túlio with a dunk, and O Mago, once again, extended the lead. End of the first half: 43-34 for Mais Querido.
JP Batista was the star of the FlaBasquete lineup in the third quarter. The center started the quarter with nine points. Balbi, Robinson, and Yago also scored and withstood the home team's pressure (60-63). The American scored two more in a row, and the period ended 69-64.
Olivinha scored two points, and a foul opened the final half. Fortaleza came back, and the Mais Querido captain fought for the rebound, won it, and converted. Franco Balbi and Lucas Martinez, from outside the paint, kept FlaBasquete ahead (76-80). With four and a half minutes remaining, the home team took a one-point lead, but Martinez soon reversed the lead (4-81). Fortaleza tied the game, and the Monstrinho came up with a layup, was fouled, and converted (83-83). From distance, the red-and-black Sniper scored his fourth three-pointer of the game (86-85). With less than a minute remaining, the home team reached 90 points, to Mais Querido's 89. Yago scored, Fortaleza missed free throws, and Flamengo capitalized on the rebound. Lucas Martinez was fouled with three seconds remaining, securing two points to seal the match.
