Flamengo's 20-game unbeaten streak is the talk of the basketball news, but not the latest conversation among Flamengo players. In a tough group in the League of the Americas, featuring Estrellas Occidentales, a sort of national team made up of players from different Venezuelan teams, Fuerza Regia from Mexico, and Brasília, the Mais Querido knows the moment demands concentration. The first challenge is against the NBB runner-up, this Friday (February 8.02), in Venezuela, at 18 p.m.

"All the teams in the Liga de las Américas have players with a very high level of technical ability. It's a championship that demands greater concentration," points out shooting guard Benite.

The team will compete in Group B of the competition, needing to be among the top two to qualify without any problems. The matches will be played between February 8th and 10th in Venezuela. The two best third-place teams from all groups will also qualify for the next stage.
