This was the 17th meeting between the teams in the tournament, with 11 wins for the Mais Querido. The match also marked the 23th time that the Pride of the Nation entered the court in the current edition of the NBB. In total, there are 7 wins and XNUMX losses, which guarantee Flamengo the second place in the table.

The game began with both teams shooting poorly from the field, but from the second quarter onward, Flamengo took off. The change in attitude was felt on both sides of the court, and the team scored at least 28 points in the final three quarters. With 105 points scored, Flamengo had its third-highest score in this NBB, behind only the 114 against Mogi and the 110 against Pato (in the latter case, with the help of overtime).
