This Friday (08.08), Marcelinho, Marquinhos, Felício and José Neto travel with the Brazilian National Team to Buenos Aires for the 3 Nations Tournament. The team's debut in another test for the World Cup in Spain will be in the classic against Argentina, at 21:30 pm, Brasília time. On Sunday (10.08), at 19 pm, Brazil faces Mexico. SporTV will broadcast both games live.
For Flamengo winger Marquinhos, the Argentina matches are part of a series of preparations for the national team. "Following the same pattern of warm-up matches, we'll be playing against two excellent opponents. They're teams that have also qualified for the World Cup and have the same objective as us. We'll keep playing and pursue our goal, which is to improve our defense and offense every day," he explained.
At the World Cup in Spain, Brazil will be in Group A, based in Granada, and will face the following opponents in the first phase: France, August 30th, at 1 p.m.; Iran, September 31st, at 1 p.m.; Spain, September 1st, at 5 p.m.; Serbia, September 3rd, at 1 p.m.; and Egypt, September 4th, at 10:30 a.m. In the round of 16, Brazil will face one of the top four teams in Group B: Argentina, Croatia, the Philippines, Greece, Puerto Rico, or Senegal.
