The game

The match started with a bang. Flamengo took the lead, Fortaleza took the lead, but by the end, Gustavo De Conti's team had opened up a seven-point lead in the first half. Argentine Loku Cuello was the standout performer, with seven points and five rebounds in just 10 minutes. The second half saw a similar story with another key player, Hettsheimeir, contributing 10 points. At halftime, the score was 43-29 in favor of "Mais Querido."

Upon returning to the court, the red-and-blacks had a blistering offensive avalanche, the defense was working, and the Orgulho da Nação had a huge advantage: 15-30 in the quarter, with Flamengo winning 73-44. Only Luke Martinez, who hadn't yet scored in the match, scored 13 points in the third quarter. In the final period, Mengão continued to fire heavily, with a barrage of three-pointers. Hettsheimeir was the team's most accurate from the perimeter, with five in the match. The Gávea squad had 17 total. The result could not have been different: a crushing 99-64.
