In another away game, in the seventh round of the NBB, FlaBasquete took off in the last quarter and beat Unifacisa 87-77, this Friday (1), at Arena Unifacisa. Argentine Franco Balbi was the highlight of the match with 29 points, and in addition, broke his scoring record in a match for Novo Basquete Brasil.

1st Bedroom
The first two points for Flamengo came from a good play by Gui Deodato to Ruan, who scored under the basket. Flamengo's start to the game was devastating. With a three-pointer from Alexey, the Pride of the Nation took a 10-2 lead. Lucas Siewert also followed suit, scoring from the three-point line. The Flamengo defense stood out, showing excellent form, preventing Unifacisa's advances. FlaBasquete dominated the first half of the quarter, and in the final minutes, the home team fought back and took the lead: 20-18.

2st Bedroom
On the court, Balbi found Kayo Gonçalves in the dead zone and he nailed a three-pointer, regaining the lead. The match remained very even, with both teams alternating the lead. The red-and-black team made mistakes on the offensive end and missed some shots. In the final seconds, Orgulho da Nação stepped up, turned the score around, and went into halftime ahead by two points: 38-36.

3st Bedroom
With a hot hand, Balbi made a good play in the dead zone and hit his second three-pointer of the game. The Argentine point guard led the way for the Flamengo team, putting in an excellent performance after halftime. Jordan Williams also took responsibility and scored well on offense. Unifacisa, in turn, continued to follow Flamengo's lead, preventing Flamengo from opening up a lead. In the final seconds, Williams dunked to close the set at 63-61 for Flamengo.

4st Bedroom
In the opening seconds of the fourth quarter, Balbi hit another three-pointer. On the court, Jhonatan Luz also followed suit, hitting two three-pointers. The game remained evenly matched, and Unifacisa didn't let the Gávea team get away. In this quarter alone, Jhonatan Luz converted three three-pointers, helping "Pride of the Nation" maintain its lead. In the final minutes, Mengão managed to open up a lead and closed the game 87-77, securing another away victory.

The Pride of the Nation returns to the court on Monday (4) to face Caxias do Sul, at 20 pm, at the Tijuca Tênis Clube gym, for the New Basketball Brazil (NBB).
