Flamengo's youth basketball team takes to the court this week for the State Championship challenges. On May 12th, the U-13 team travels to General Severiano to face Botafogo at 09 a.m. The "Mais Querido" is coming off a 57-42 victory over Central and is looking to build on that with another positive result. 

After a resounding 69-26 victory against Municipal, the U-15 Crias da Gávea will also face a derby in the next round. Away from home, the red-and-blacks will face Botafogo on the 12th at 10:30 am. Led by coach Beegu, the Gávea boys already have three wins in the championship and with a victory against Botafogo, they can close in on the tournament leaders. 

The U-17, coached by Igor Meletti, takes to the court today (06), at 15 pm, to face Jacarepaguá. In the opponent's domains, the red-black team seeks to recover from the setback of the last round. 

Closing the agenda, on Sunday (12), the undefeated U-19 team faces Botafogo seeking their fifth victory in the State Championship. So far, the team led by Rodrigo Galego has beaten Fluminense, Niterói, Tijuca and Municipal.
