Playing away from home, Flamengo defeated São Paulo at the Morumbi stadium 91-66, achieving their seventh consecutive victory in the New Basketball Brazil (NBB). With a strong collective performance, both offensively and defensively, the team also put in excellent individual performances, showed sharp aim, and kept their opponents under 70 points.

The game
Playing at home, the opponent opened up a lead, but the Rubro-Negro soon closed the gap and quickly took the lead, relying on strong perimeter shooting from Cuello and Hettsheimeir—a duo that stood out in the first quarter—and a strong offensive performance from Penka Aguirre, who excelled in efficiency. The Tricolor regained the lead, but Gui Deodato leveled the score with a crucial three-pointer. The match remained even until the final minute, when the team from Gávea opened up an eight-point lead (19-27).
The second period saw less offensive performance from both teams, ending with a leaner partial (11-17), but Gustavo De Conti's men significantly increased their lead over the home team and went into the break winning 44 to 32. Jaú and Hettsheimeir started the third quarter with sharp aim, scoring five points each before the halfway point, when Mais Querido was already approaching a 20-point difference on the scoreboard (38-56).
Flamengo had a good lead heading into the final minutes of the match and just needed to manage their advantage to secure the victory. Even so, the team didn't let up and closed the score with a convincing 91-66.
