Against Macaé, Benite hopes the Nation will fill Tijuca

Ticket office opens three hours before the game; Fla could be the ninth state champion

Regardless of the sport, Flamengo becomes incredibly strong when fans and team unite. This Wednesday (October 30th), at 30.10:19 pm, this can be proven once again. At the Tijuca Tênis Clube gymnasium, the "Mais Querido" (Flamengo's Favorite Team) will become the nine-time State Basketball Champion if they beat Macaé. Since their opponent is qualified, the show that only the Nation can put on during a match will be crucial for the trophy to go to Gávea. Point guard Benite is counting on the massive presence of the Nation.

"I hope the fans show up. Since Flamengo has the biggest fan base in the world, I hope they fill the Tijuca gymnasium, because that way the game will be much more enjoyable for everyone. The spectacle will be more beautiful for those watching and more exciting for those on the court," he said.

The club could be crowned champions, having already won the first game, as a visitor. If Macaé wins, a third and decisive match will be held on Thursday (October 31.10st), at 20 p.m., again at the Tijuca gymnasium. The two teams have already faced each other four times in this edition of the State Championship, and the Red-Black team has won them all.

"It's always difficult to play many games against the same team. Macaé already knows a lot of what we do in attack and defense. That's normal. Plus, they have quality. So, it will be difficult. Since they need to win, we expect a very determined opponent, but we have the advantage of being at home, where we're used to playing, and with the fans behind us. We'll try to impose our rhythm," said Benite.

Tickets

Tickets will be sold only at the Tijuca Tênis Clube and will cost R$30 full price and R$15 half price. Tickets will go on sale three hours before kickoff. Students, fans wearing the Sacred Mantle, and members of the Nação Rubro-Negra are entitled to half-price tickets.
