This is Flamengo! With another great performance from the team, the Crias da Gávea beat Curitiba Basquete 87x56 this Wednesday (19), and reached their third victory in the Curitiba stage of the LDB 2018. Matheusinho was the top scorer of the match with 22 points, in addition to grabbing seven rebounds and giving three assists.

"We went into the locker room at halftime knowing what Curitiba's weak point was and we tried to improve in the second half. We improved a lot on defense, and whenever we're more aggressive defensively, we can flow better on offense and play with more ease," said the point guard.

João Vitor (15 points and five rebounds), Felipin (nine points and eight rebounds) and Camargo (eight points and five rebounds) also stood out and contributed to the good performance of the red-black attack.

Flamengo has seven wins in nine games in the 2018 edition of the Basketball Development League, with a 77% success rate. This Thursday (20), the Crias da Gávea will take to the court at 14:30 pm to face Praia Clube in the last match of the Curitiba stage.
