Gávea kids debut with victory in the Under-16 Brazilian Basketball Cup
Mais Querido had a good performance and started the competition on the right foot

Facing Círculo Militar, from Paraná, FlaBasquete won 83-47 and took the first step toward the national title. Miguel (16 points), João Cesar Silva (11 points), and Gabriel Barcellos (11 points) were the highlights of Rubro-Negro in the match.

The competition, which features the country's top clubs, is the premier tournament in the category. Mais Querido is in Group B, along with Praia Clube from Minas Gerais and ASBAVI from Rondônia, as well as the team from Paraná. The Crias da Gávea will take the court again this Monday at 11:30 am against the team from Rondônia.
